It’s coming.
Stunning and somewhat terrifying to consider that this next year is actually going to be a far bigger ‘make or break’ year for the Church than this one.

I, along with three faithful families, were told we are no longer welcome for worship if we do not wear a mask. When we brought up liberty of conscience (Romans 14), we were told Romans 13 trumped that. I also found out this local church took a PPP loan.

Do you believe that God is allowing the chaos around us to get progressively worse with each passing day to get our attention so we will RETURN to Him?

’21 will be the year of mass movement
— Michael Foster (@thisisfoster) January 7, 2021
– People will relocate to the freer states
– People will relocate to suburban and rural areas
– People will switch to truly conservative churches
– People will be force to find new jobs/industries
Today was the Democrat’s 9/11. This crisis won’t go to waste.

(There ever only was God’s plan, but there will be a mass of conservative voters who don’t believe in God that are extremely disillusioned by all this.)
They always let slip their thinly veiled hatred for the working class. https://t.co/lY2xo0zx2W

Americans fear each other more than ever, domestic terror, way less concerned about our wildly lopsided economic system, according to new poll. pic.twitter.com/c5bmgSpNde

I posted these tweets to show just how bad things have gotten in the minds of Americans. We are a divided nation in more ways than one. Even Christians are coming to blows over masks, the election, COVID, and church attendance. I also expect 2021 is the year Romans 13 gets used and abused in ways we never thought possible.
I won’t say that 2021 is the year the persecution starts, but I am confident that the beginnings of its legal and policy framework will take shape this year. It will come in the form of executive orders, Congressional bills (state and federal), and published judicial decisions.
This will take time, of course, and we still don’t know all the ins-and-outs.
But I believe 2021 is the year the wheels start turning for real. If I’m wrong, I’m wrong. I’ll eat my words if I have to. I make these statements because 2020 revealed the histrionic, anti-religious aggression of the Left. They have made it very clear that if you are not with them, you are against them.
Do you think the Christian church in America is ready for all this?
The bigger question, though: are YOU ready for all this?
2021 is going to be a make or break year.
Be ready.
A Twitter thread:
When the persecution comes to America in full force, it will come in the name of “health and safety.” It will be given multiple layers of legalistic gloss so “rational” minds cannot debate its necessity. Legal challenges will smooth out nuances but not prohibit it.

But ultimately:
To my fellow Christians, your eyes should be lifted up to Christ and the coming Kingdom. You are not of this world. Political games are no substitute for prayer and supplication. Jesus will not be wearing a MAGA hat or a Biden-Harris sticker on His white horse.

Gird your loins, comport yourselves like men, and get ready.
Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the Devil.
For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places.
Therefore, take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand firm.
Ephesians 6:11-13
