A timely topic given the state of the world. What is the root of bitterness?
Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any ROOT OF BITTERNESS springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled.
Hebrews 12:15
Another person’s unhappiness, constant complaining, unrealistic expectations, and narcissism is like being strapped to blaring ambulance siren. Unfortunately, this negative energy can spread to others. It truly is “a root that beareth gall and wormwood.” (Deut. 29:18 KJV). Avoid these people if you can.
Pray for them, as well, if that is what the Holy Spirit calls you to do.
