When in Doubt: CALM DOWN.

Rest in the Lord, and wait patiently for Him. Do not fret because of him who prospers in his way, because of the man who brings wicked schemes to pass. Cease from anger, and forsake wrath; do not fret – it only causes harm.

Psalms 37:7-8

The wicked are often described as calm and unafraid. (Jeremiah 12:1.)

So, why is the Christian worried?

Do we not rest in the knowledge that we are saved according to Christ’s grace and sacrifice?

If the wicked are calm, then the Christian should also be calm.

Let all bitterness and wrath and anger and clamor and slander be put away from you, along with all malice.

Ephesians 4:31

I have been in numerous stressful situations in my life, personally and professionally.

I will see more in the future.

I have learned through moments of great stress that freaking out solves NOTHING.

In fact, freaking out just makes things worse.

Strive to maintain control in stressful situations and you will be better off, personally and professionally.

Learn to be an immovable object in the eye of the storm. Learn to cut through the fog of war and act decisively.

To sum it all up:

The Holy Spirit advises you to chill
